Yeah I realized that once I read your profile, sorry for accusing you. What I am trying to say though to those who dont know just might want a little follow up.

I'm a little confused by the discussion about credit. This isn't a replication of Mozilla.org... it is Mozilla.org. I designed this site with the Mozilla team and my team at silverorange. I wouldn't post work in my portfolio that I was not able to take credit for.

I did not mean to sound as if I was accusing him. Either way it doesn't bother me any if he did indeed rip it or not. I just feel as if he should post if he re-created the site or not. Not just from a legal standpoint, but also from a artistic standpoint we are after all an art community and I would hate to see one of our artists accused of ripping by someone with much more authority than I, even though he may have recreated it himself from the ground up.

KnightAR no I did not do my research, but almost anyone can make an assumption that he did not create all of the sites in his portfolio originally. I give him much props to the ability to create or even recreate these sites with great detail, but I do feel as if he should give the proper respect to the original creator if he was not. If he was just put a little something in the description. To me or really anyone else at first glance seeing all of these big name sites designs in one mans portfolio can be a little misleading without some form of citation.

He worked on the identity of Firefox and Mozilla (ie the logo and website),
Source: http://www.mozillazine.org/talkback.html?article=4319

"Steven began to assemble a group of designers, including his coworkers Daniel Burka and Stephen DesRoches, to improve quality and consistency of the visual elements of the Mozilla products. The creators of Firefox's default Mac OS X theme, Kevin Gerich and Stephen Horlander, are also part of the team.

The actual Firefox logo itself was created by Jon Hicks of hicksdesign, who was recruited by Steven Garrity when he saw a set of Camino icons Jon had designed. The concept for the Firefox logo came from Daniel Burka and the final image is based on a sketch by Stephen DesRoches."

I think is a replicate of mozilla.org which is his objective but should be stated on description for legal issues. Emotion: smile.gif
